Where to get real advice for this machine
Almost everything that changes a cooking answer is a property of the architecture rather than the badge. This is a countertop oven with air fry, and the Countertop oven with air fry page carries the cooking guidance that actually applies to it.
Expect 20–30% longer than a basket machine at the same temperature, and accept that crisping will be less pronounced. Always preheat; these cavities are large and take five to ten minutes. Use a perforated tray rather than a solid one, positioned in the middle of the cavity rather than close to the top element. For frozen foods, the packet's OVEN instructions are usually a better starting point than its air-fryer instructions.
Does it genuinely air-fry?
Partly — see the assessment
Assessed as partial rather than genuine, and the reasoning is the preheat figure. A stated 13-minute preheat for the grill mode indicates a cavity with substantial thermal mass and slow recovery, which fails the rapid-thermal-recovery criterion outright. Air does reach all surfaces on the rack and basket accessories. Whether air velocity at the food reaches the threshold the first criterion describes cannot be established from the manual, so it is not recorded as met — and without it the verdict cannot be `genuine`. A reader should treat this appliance as a small fan oven that air-fries well rather than as an air fryer.
- Air reaches every surface of the food
- Reaches genuine browning temperatures
What we know about this machine
Read from Tefal Easy Fry 9in1 11L Air Fryer & Mini Oven — Instruction Manual (PDF), retrieved on 2026-08-13.
It is rated at 2050 W, which is toward the top of the domestic range and means it recovers temperature quickly after cold food goes in. It has a single cooking shelf, so everything in it cooks at one temperature for one time. It runs from 45°C to 200°C, and the low end is genuinely useful: it is enough to dehydrate, prove dough or hold food warm. On preheating: slow to come up to temperature — preheating matters. It is sold as 11 litres, which measures the whole drawer including the space above the food that you must not fill.
The figures above are the manufacturer’s. What they mean for cooking is AirfryerHQ’s reading of them, not a measurement — nobody here has run this machine.

In the manual’s own words: Optional and deliberately started by the user for most modes; automatic and stated to last 13 minutes for Grill mode. It is the longest published preheat in this catalogue by a wide margin and the clearest single piece of evidence that preheating is an architecture question rather than a technique question.

7 figures we could not establish
Each of these says WHY it is missing. “Not recorded by the sources consulted” means the manufacturer does not publish it in the document we read — not that nobody looked, and not that the figure does not exist.

What each setting actually does
Read from the manual. The marketing name is what is printed on the panel; the canonical capability is what the mode is in generic terms, so a reader can find advice written for somebody else’s appliance.
| On the panel | Canonically | Starts at | Settable range | Preheat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fries | Air fry | No temperature setting | Fixed — cannot be changed | Not stated |
| Chicken | Roast | 200°C | Fixed — cannot be changed | Not stated |
| Meat | Grill | 200°C, 5 min | Fixed — cannot be changed | Yes |
| Fish | Air fry | 200°C, 4 min | Fixed — cannot be changed | Yes |
| Pizza | Bake | 190°C, 8 min | Fixed — cannot be changed | Not stated |
| Cake | Bake | 160°C, 30 min | Fixed — cannot be changed | Not stated |
| Dehydration | Dehydrate | 45°C | Fixed — cannot be changed | Not stated |
| Grill | Grill | 200°C | Fixed — cannot be changed | Yes |
- Fries: The manual's own optimum is 700g of frozen fries. Its cooking guide gives 700-750g of 10mm frozen chips 25-30 minutes at 200°C.
- Chicken: The cooking guide gives a whole chicken 60 minutes at 200°C and wings 40 minutes at the same temperature.
- Meat: 250g, 13-minute preheat, then 4 to 6 minutes at 200°C, turning halfway.
- Fish: 200g of fish fillet, 13-minute preheat, then 3 to 5 minutes. The guide separately gives salmon 8-15 minutes at 170°C.
- Pizza: 400g at 190°C for 8 minutes.
- Cake: 300g for 30 minutes at 160°C, in a baking tin or oven dish placed in the bowl. Muffins are given 15-18 minutes at 180°C.
- Dehydration: 45°C for 4 to 12 hours; the worked example is 6 or 7 apple pieces. The only mode reaching below the 65°C manual thermostat floor, and the only one the 24-hour timer applies to.
- Grill: The one mode whose 13-minute preheat is automatic rather than optional: confirming it starts the preheat before anything else happens.

That figure is from this model’s own rating plate or documentation. A model sold under the same marketing name in another market may be different hardware — different code, capacity, wattage or supply — so check the plate on the machine in front of you rather than the name on the box.
A travel plug adapter changes the shape of the pins and nothing else. It does not convert voltage. Whether an appliance built for one mains standard can be used safely on another is a question about a two-kilowatt heating load, and it is one for a qualified electrician rather than for this page.
Error codes and display states
Only what this manufacturer publishes, and only for this manufacturer. A code means whatever the firmware author decided it means, and reading one across from another brand is the commonest way to misdiagnose a fault.
AirfryerHQ does not hold this code for this manufacturer. That is a statement about this catalogue and not about your appliance: most manufacturers publish no code table at all, and a code's meaning is specific to the firmware that produced it. Do not read a meaning across from another brand — check your own manual, and contact the manufacturer if it is not in there.
Cleaning this model
The parts this architecture has, what collects on each, and what its own manual permits. Full methods and prohibitions are on the cleaning pages.

The manual states that all included accessories and the appliance's door are dishwasher safe, and separately that the basket must not be filled more than halfway.
Replaceable parts
AirfryerHQ holds no part records for Tefal Easy Fry 9in1 11L Air Fryer & Mini Oven. That is a statement about this catalogue rather than about the appliance: every air fryer has a basket and most have a crisper plate, and the manual read for this model does not enumerate them in a way we could record. What can be replaced, and what to ask for covers the general case, including where to find the model number a parts desk will ask you for.
Recall and safety status
Recall status not checked
No verified recall or safety notice is currently recorded in AirfryerHQ for this appliance. That is a statement about this catalogue and not about the product: AirfryerHQ holds a small number of checked alerts and is not a copy of the UK register. Check the authority's own register before concluding that an appliance is unaffected.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards publishes the UK register of product safety alerts, reports and recalls on GOV.UK, and Electrical Safety First operates a recall checker for electrical appliances. Registering an appliance with its manufacturer is what makes a direct notification possible.
AirfryerHQ has no recall data feed and has not checked. That is not a clean bill of health — it is an absence of checking, and it is recorded as one. Check the manufacturer’s own recall page and your national product-safety register.
Finding the manual
The cooking guide qualifies each food by a maximum quantity in grams. Its chicken breast row — 500g of boneless fillets in 6 to 9 minutes at 200°C — is irreconcilable with the 15 to 20 minutes three other manufacturers publish, and is recorded exactly as printed. Two documents were read: a seven-page copy from a retailer's manual library, and the twenty-page manufacturer copy Tefal's own support page links, which is where the control panel is described. The manual copy also carries the reheat instruction the panel has no button for — 160°C for up to 10 minutes.
About this model
A mini oven with an air-fry capability, a grill plate and a rotating basket. It is in the catalogue for the architecture and it stayed in it for the disagreement: its cooking guide gives 6 to 9 minutes for 500g of boneless chicken breast fillets at 200°C, where three other manufacturers give 15 to 30 minutes. AirfryerHQ publishes both and explains the problem rather than picking one.
