Cookies

None is set unless you accept analytics. If you do, Google Analytics sets two, and you can turn it off again here.

When cookies are set

No cookie is set unless you accept analytics. AirfryerHQ sets none of its own, and there is no advertising on the site.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site. One is named _ga and holds a random identifier that lets Google Analytics tell one browser from another, including on a later visit. The other has a name beginning _ga_ and holds the state of your current visit. Google Analytics decides how long they last. In the browser we checked, each was set to expire 400 days after it was last updated; other browsers may keep them for a longer or shorter time.

AirfryerHQ itself stores two things in your browser, and neither is a cookie. Your analytics decision is kept in local storage, whichever way you answer, so that we do not ask again. If you accept, a random identifier for the tab you are using is kept in session storage; it is not sent to Google and is discarded when the tab closes.

Turning analytics off, and clearing

Turning analytics off with the button on this page stops anything further being sent, discards the identifier for your tab, and removes the two Google Analytics cookies where this site is able to remove them. If your browser still shows one afterwards, clearing site data will remove it.

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes everything described here, including your decision. You will be asked about analytics again on your next visit.
