AirfryerHQ

How AirfryerHQ works

Four decisions shape everything on this site. They are stated here because a reader is entitled to know why the pages are the shape they are.

One page per cut, not per state

There is one cooking page for chicken breast, and it covers fresh, frozen and reheated. The state is a selector on that page rather than a URL of its own.

The alternative — a page per food per state — would generate hundreds of near-identical URLs competing with each other for the same search, each differing by two numbers and a paragraph. That is a doorway-page pattern. One reviewed page with a selector is better for a reader and honest with a search engine.

The appliance is modelled separately from the brand

There are thousands of air-frying appliances and roughly eight ways of building one. Nearly everything that changes a cooking answer is a property of the architecture rather than the badge: a four-litre drawer behaves like every other four-litre drawer and unlike a twenty-five-litre cavity, whoever made either.

So cooking guidance attaches to the architecture, and a reader who owns a machine we have never heard of still gets a real answer by choosing the shape of the thing in their kitchen. Model pages exist because people search for them, and they send you to the architecture page for the advice.

Every recommendation states its assumptions

A time of 18–22 minutes means nothing until you know what it assumed. Every cooking observation on this site records the piece weight, the thickness, the quantity, the starting temperature, the appliance architecture, the loading and whether it was preheated — and the page shows them.

It also records what moves the answer from one end of the range to the other, which is usually thickness and occasionally the machine.

We refuse rather than interpolate

Where we hold no observation for a combination, we say so. There is deliberately no code anywhere in this product that scales a cooking time by a weight ratio or averages two records, and none may be added — a figure produced that way would look exactly like a measured one, which is the failure the whole model exists to prevent.

The consequence is that AirfryerHQ answers fewer questions than a site that guesses. That is the trade, and it is the right way round.
