We are independent
AirfryerHQ is published by HEKNO Ltd and has no commercial relationship, partnership, sponsorship or affiliation with any appliance manufacturer, retailer or brand.
Nothing on this site is written at a manufacturer's request, reviewed by a manufacturer before publication, or altered because of one.
Why we name manufacturers at all
Readers own specific appliances and search for them by name. A site about cooking in air fryers that could not say 'Ninja' or 'Philips' would be unable to answer the questions people actually have.
Manufacturer and model names on this site are used descriptively — to identify a product, not to trade on a reputation. 'Air fryer' itself is used as the generic name for the appliance category and the cooking method, which is what it is.
Trade marks
All trade marks, product names and company names referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. Their use here does not imply any endorsement of, or affiliation with, AirfryerHQ.
We do not use any manufacturer's logo, mark, typeface or visual identity. The AirfryerHQ identity is our own and is deliberately unlike any manufacturer's.
The manufacturer's manual governs
Where a manufacturer's instructions for your appliance conflict with anything on this site, follow the manufacturer. They know their machine and we do not. This applies particularly to what may be placed inside the cooking chamber, to accessories, and to cleaning.
Where we record a manufacturer's guidance, we say so and we say which products it applies to. Guidance for one manufacturer's appliance is never presented as advice for another's.
How we would handle a commercial relationship
AirfryerHQ has no advertising, no affiliate links and no sponsored content at the time of writing. If that changes, any commercial placement will be disclosed on the page it appears on, and the platform that serves it is prohibited from placing anything on a safety page, a troubleshooting page or a page about a hazard.
Editorial and safety judgements are never affected by commercial considerations, and the architecture enforces that rather than promising it.
