It is rated at 2000 W, which is toward the top of the domestic range and means it recovers temperature quickly after cold food goes in. It has a single cooking drawer, so everything in it cooks at one temperature for one time. It runs from 40°C to 200°C, and the low end is genuinely useful: it is enough to dehydrate, prove dough or hold food warm. On preheating: comes up to temperature quickly. It is sold as 7.2 litres, which measures the whole drawer including the space above the food that you must not fill.

First read in August 2026 from a retailer-hosted copy of the January 2023 edition. The food table, preset table and warnings are unchanged between the two. The 2026 edition adds a section giving the settable temperature and time ranges and an ecodesign table of standby power, and names the app HomeID where the 2023 edition names it NutriU.

The manual forbids baking paper outright — "Never use light ingredients or baking paper in the appliance" — which rules out the parchment liners widely recommended for basket machines, because anything light enough to lift can reach the heating element. The basket carries two separate MAX indications: one for fries and one for other food. The pan and basket go in the dishwasher, the pan with its rubber plug left in; the element is cleaned with a soft to medium bristle brush, never a wire one.

  The manual states the Wi-Fi function has a defect. It separately describes steady blinking as the appliance connecting or in set-up, and an unlit indicator as not connected or Wi-Fi turned off.

  The manual says the Airfryer can be used without the connectivity features, or Philips can be contacted. For an unlit indicator, holding Time down and Start/pause together for 2 seconds turns Wi-Fi back on.

• Peeling or chipped spots inside the pan

  Philips attributes this to the coating being touched or scratched — specifically to inserting the basket at an angle, so its side knocks the wall of the pan and chips it. Harsh cleaning tools do the same. The manual states the material is food-safe and the chipping is not harmful.

  Lower the basket into the pan squarely rather than at an angle, and keep abrasive tools away from the coating. The damage is cosmetic and cumulative rather than a fault to be repaired.

• White smoke comes out of the appliance

  Four causes are given: fatty ingredients; greasy residue left in the pan from previous use; breading that has not adhered and is blowing around the chamber; and marinade, liquid or meat juices splattering in rendered fat.

  Pour off excess oil or fat from the pan and continue cooking; clean the pan and basket thoroughly after every use; press breading firmly onto food so it stays put; and pat food dry before it goes in the basket.

• The Airfryer does not switch on

  Beyond the plug, Philips names the circuit: "The Airfryer has a high wattage", and several appliances on one outlet can be enough to stop it starting.
