How to tell, without a thermometer
- A UK three-pin plug moulded to the cord, not an adaptor
- A rating plate with a model number, a serial number and a UKCA or CE mark
- A named UK or EU importer with an address on the packaging or the plate
If it has not got there: If you already own one, find the model number on the rating plate and check it against the OPSS register. If there is no rating plate at all, that is itself a finding.
